Guess What?

He is due to arrive around February 17. We are so excited, especially Alexis. She wants a little brother so badly. At least, she thinks she does.

Walking?

One of the many things going on here lately: Sept. 17 - Scarlett walks! This is such a miracle for us because she is 14 months. Alexis made us wait until she was...wait for it...18 MONTHS. This may sound like a blessing to some of you, but it definitely was not for us. We lived in the snow and in an apartment with no assigned parking. It just got old, ya know? Anyway, we are so grateful for this "early walking" and are now just trying to keep up.

I could not choose just one video, so if you get bored, don't watch them all. I have been promising my mom these videos for two weeks now, so here you go, Madre. As always, Alexis is trying to be the star of the show. I suppose that is one of the reasons we love her.

At last, Day 4 & 5

On day 3, we attended Steve's youngest brother, Brad's Eagle Court of Honor. I have not been to one of those in about 10 years (my bro). It was cool (and kind of funny) to see Steve and all his brothers & brother-in-law in the "Eagle's Nest." [Alexis was having a rough day.] Playing with cousin, Skyler.
In the morning of day 4, we toured the Sweets Candy Factory, specializing in my favorite, salt water taffy and also chocolate-covered cinnamon bears. Then, we headed over to Temple Square. It is always fun to take the kids back there. We had a really yummy lunch at the Nauvoo Cafe and ended the fun with a little ride on TRAX.

Finally, Day 3, sorry.

Sorry about the seriously long delay. We have had A LOT going on at our house (more about that in future posts)

Tinker Toys with Spencer
One of Scarlett's favorite people, Uncle Tom (She still prefers anyone of the male gender, after me, of course!)
Tom received his endowment at the Draper Temple. It was a great experience. We are so proud of him and excited that he is going to Romania.
It was VERY VERY windy. (Definitely not knee-length dress weather)
