NYC @ Christmas

Right before we left for Utah, we went into the city, (by "city" I mean NYC). We went to see the tree in Rockefeller Center and then walked up 5th Ave to look at the store windows. Next, we headed to World of Disney, which Alexis loves.

I love Santa

Here are pics from our "I love Santa" photo shoot. We are in Utah right now visiting Steve's family. There's lots of snow and it is cold. We are having fun though.

My Princess!

Steve was at class late one night so we decided to be girly. I am so excited that Alexis discovered princesses. Don't worry she still likes Football and B-ball thanks to Steve.

Gold Digger 1

Here she is, the gold digger.

Gold Digger 2

Tag...Lame!

Well my friend, Shandis tagged me a few weeks ago and I don't really do "Tags," but she has been harassing me. My close friends already know some of this. Here it is:

6 THINGS MOST PEOPLE DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME:

1. I am a morning person. If I wake up at 6am, I am up and cannot go back to sleep. Usually, I take advantage of the me-time, reading or blogging or whatever. It bothers me when people sleep in, but maybe that's because I'm jealous.

2. I really want to go to culinary arts school someday. I have really learned to love cooking, I am so an amateur.

3. I am perfectionist clothing folder. I HAVE to fold my own clothes and they must be folded without any wrinkles. Same goes for my daughter's clothes. I could fold for hours, ask Lexie. This also goes for gift wrapping. I love wrapping, I almost want to wrap my own gifts. They have to have awesome bows and ribbon. My mom taught me all the skills! Thanks Lori!

4. Prayer is really really hard for me. I forget so easily. I am embarrassed about that. I do know that it works, but it's just hard.

5. I do not like sweets (except a few, like cheesecake). Things like cake, doughnuts, most cookies, & candy bars make me want to vomit. Some pies are okay. My vice is the salty stuff, such as Flamin' Hot Cheetos and pretzels.

6. Right before my mish, I dated this guy that wanted me to stay home and marry him. Well, I didn't. I went on my mission to Brazil and while in the Brazilian MTC, I wrote the meanest 'Dear John' letter EVER! The guy was writing sappy, tear-soaked letters, "Gag!" So, I wrote the letter and showed it to my district. The elders told me that I was going to kill him, so they rewrote it to be a little nicer. I sent it and this guy kept writing and begging but with no response from me, got the hint. He called me a few times after my mission, but I already had Steve, who so trumps that guy. Love you baby!

A Good Girl

Alexis loves Santa and can't wait for him to come bring presents. Here she is being her silly self. We do try to teach her the real meaning of Christmas, but she just loves presents!

Reading to Baby

On multiple occasions, we have found Alex reading her SpongeBob book to her baby. How cute is that?

Sittin' Pretty

Lately, each time we go to get Alexis out of bed in the morning, we find her like this. She then says, "I take a picture, say 'cheese, CHEESE!'" You also might notice the large number of stuffed animals in the crib with her. They include: Sadie, Abby Cadabby, Tigger, Mickey Mouse, Elmo, Ernie, Mumble Happy Feet, and Max, the monkey. She insists that she sleep with all of them every night. Sadie, the dog (named after Grandma Noni's dog), is her favorite.

Little People City

This is Alex and her Little People city. She loves her Little People and Steve LOVES getting them for her. He received most of them through a rewards/points program for Lexis Nexis (a lawyerly thing) which he also works for part time.

Just a Random Pic

Look at her, I just love my baby girl. Nothing much new going on. Steve has his first final tonight and like every year at finals, he is sick. Alexis loves singing and can sing the whole ABC song. We are so proud of her! I am just trying to get ready for the holidays and our trip to UT and CA.

City fun

We went to the city, New York, that is. We did a ton of walking, but had fun. Of course, you'll notice that Steve was unable to participate in any of the activities because of school, bummer.
