We had her open her family gifts Friday night after dinner at Wendy's. She wanted "chicken dunnits." She was very excited about all her gifts, but by the end of the night, very grumpy. I've decided that a whole bunch of presents all at once is not ideal for a toddler.
We had an Elmo birthday party on Saturday with a taco bar and an Elmo cake. Alex loved the party. We were grateful that Steve's dad was able to arrange his business trip for the same weekend and join us for the festivities. Thanks to all who helped and for the great gifts.
