Knott's Berry Farm

I promise these are the last pictures from our trip to Cali. Towards the end of our vacation we decided to go to Knott's Berry Farm. This has always been one of my favorite places. It is cheaper and not nearly as crowded as Disneyland. The night before we went, we discovered that you could get in for $20 if you wore the colors of the teams in the Holiday or Rose Bowls. We all had on our red or navy blue. Steve accidentally had a green shirt, which wasn't a team color, so he put on this denim shirt my dad had. The KBF people were crazy about the colors and said denim didn't count as blue. The lady that was checking our colors could barely see through her coke-bottle glasses. Anyway, we FINALLY got in after my mom went and got in another line.
We had a blast. Alexis loved it. We were just a little bummed that Montezuma's Revenge kept closing every time we would go to ride it. Steve took Alex on the Log Ride at the end of the day. Crazy! They only got a little wet. I opted to stay with the stroller. Darn!

Hi Melissa,

I loved those pictures. What a fun place to take Alexis. Yes, it looks like you and Steve had just as much fun as Alexis.

I am jealous that you got to go there, and I am REALLY jealous that you are all wearing short sleeves!!!! PS. I don't like that "4 months till graduation" comment up at the top of your blog. you should take it down it makes me too sad :(

Hi Melissa,

Have you heard of Dylan's Candy Bar store in Manhattan?? I heard about it on Oprah. I wish I could go. Anyways, looks like a fun candy store. Pass this info on.

Didn't we go to Knotts for your b-day? What fun! Good times! When do you guys actually leave? We want to see you before you go.

Suddenly our trip to Utah/Idaho looks pretty slow.
I watched the Nanny Diaries a few weeks ago and went into panic mode that those would be Trevor's colleagues. He informed me that we'll still be too poor for them so that calmed me. But I kept laughing at the movie because it related to so many people I've met. Particularly the corn syrup part.
Last thing, does Steve have an Aunt Marie Tuttle?
We keep planning to call you for a Wii night or an intro MArio Party night on the gamecube, but Trevor's schedule is erratic still.
