Barton Orchards - Fishkill, NY

Alexis and I went apple-picking in upstate New York on Saturday. Our friend, Shandis has been going there every fall for the past few years and invited us to go with her. We had a blast. We ate the apples right off the trees. They were so crisp and tart and delicious. Alexis loved it and ate apples the entire time. We picked so many apples and will be eating them and baking with them for the next couple weeks.
After picking the apples, we went and bought apple cider doughnuts and played in the pumpkin patch. Steve was not able to go with us. He had to study (shock!) to get ahead for the week of school his is missing this week. He left tonight for Utah to go to BYU and the U of U to recruit for his law school. The benefit of that: he gets to see his fam! Have fun! Miss you baby!
