Not that it does not rain here a lot , but we actually did something rainy day-like. I think about a month ago I said I would never let my kid paint because of the mess, but I needed something new.
She is definitely, as my dad would say, "her mother's daughter." Alex kept making me wipe her hands every time a speck of paint would get on them.
I tried to tell her that it's okay to be messy when you are painting, but she wouldn't have it.
We had a lot of fun anyway, and she was so excited to take pictures of herself and her artwork.

love it! we just painted today too! it's so stinkin fun to see them use their imaginations! emily made a blue zebra and a pineapple... i love alexis stuff! can she write her own name? you're a good mama, for sure!
